Why These Requirements Keep Getting Harder

Most small and mid-sized businesses feel the pressure at renewal time or when a client sends a security questionnaire.

Insurance Applications Ask More Every Year

Insurers now ask detailed questions about multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, backups, and employee training before they quote or renew. Inaccurate answers can raise your premium or put a claim at risk.

Clients Want Proof

Clients in healthcare, financial services, legal, and manufacturing increasingly ask how you protect their data. A confident, documented answer wins and keeps business.

Nobody Owns the Paperwork

Policies, risk reviews, and evidence of what is actually running are often scattered or never written down, which makes every questionnaire a scramble.

Legal Exposure After a Breach

Texas law may offer added protection from certain penalties for smaller businesses that follow a recognized cybersecurity framework, but you have to be able to show it. Talk to your attorney about how it applies to you.

How ArchiTech Global Helps

A Plain-Language Gap Review

We go through your insurance application or client questionnaire with you and show which controls you already have and which are missing.

Controls That Are Actually Running

Multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, backups, email security, patching, internal and external vulnerability scanning, and monitoring are deployed and checked, not just listed on a form.

Policies and Evidence

We help you produce clear security policies, an incident response plan, and the records that insurers and clients ask to see.

Framework Alignment

We use the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as a practical baseline and map your controls to the rules that apply to your industry.

Compliance and Cyber Insurance FAQs

What do cyber insurers usually require?

Requirements vary by carrier, but common asks include multi-factor authentication on email, remote access, and admin accounts, endpoint detection and response, tested backups, email security, employee security training, timely patching, and a written incident response plan. We review your specific application and close the gaps.

Can you help us fill out our cyber insurance application?

Yes. We help you answer the technical questions accurately and fix any gaps before you submit. We do not give legal or insurance advice, so your broker and attorney should still review the final application.

Which frameworks do you work with?

We use the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as a baseline and can map your controls to HIPAA and other requirements that apply to your industry.

Are you a certified auditor?

No. We are an IT and security provider, not an auditor or a law firm. Formal certifications and assessments are performed by independent auditors. We help you prepare for them and keep the required controls running.

Are you insured?

Yes. ArchiTech Global carries professional liability (technology errors and omissions) insurance, and a certificate is available on request.

What happens if we have a security incident?

Contact us right away. We help contain the problem, preserve evidence, support your insurer’s claim process, and review what needs to change. Having an incident response plan in place beforehand makes this much faster.

How long does it take to get ready?

Most businesses can see where they stand after a short review. How long it takes to close the gaps depends on what is missing.
